Oat Breakfast Bowl

This is a good breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • ¾ cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ Tbsp butter (optional)
  • ½ Tbsp brown sugar (optional)

Preparation

    Boil water.

    Pour oats and chia seeds into a bowl.

    Place butter and brown sugar into the bowl if using them.

    This step is optional. It makes the meal more tasty but a bit less healthy.

    Pour in boiling water and mix.

    Pour dried cranberries and walnuts on top of bowl, then serve.

    The walnuts can be crushed up a little first if you prefer smaller nut chunks.
