Yeasty Cashew Pasta Sauce

Soak the cashews: Pour cashews into the blender pitcher, submerge with cool or cold water, and cover. Put the pitcher inside the fridge and wait at least 6 hours.

Cook your pasta of choice and reserve the water used.

Drain the water from the pitcher used to soak the cashews.

Pour half the reserved water into the pitcher along with all the other sauce ingredients, then blend until smooth and creamy.

Blend in more pasta water until the sauce is at your desired thickness.

Heat sauce in a pot over medium-low heat until warm (approximately 4 minutes).

Combine sauce with your pasta and serve.
